Terms and Conditions

Definitions

“Accommodation” means the room(s) and/or facilities provided by Tzamenkomst River Lodge.
“Guest” means the person(s) occupying the accommodation.
“Establishment” means Tzamenkomst River Lodge.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.
Please email proof of payment through to bookings@tzamenkomst.com. Use your surname and invoice number as reference.

More than 1 week before check-in

100% deposit refunded

More than 48 hours before check-in

50% deposit refunded

Less than 48 hours before check-in

0% deposit refunded

A booking can be held for 6 months in lieu of losing your deposit.
Refunds will incur a 2% administration fee to cover bank charges.

Payment Terms

Full payment is due on arrival.
Accepted payment methods: Card / Cash / EFT.

Check-in / Check-out:

Check-in time: 14:00 – 20:00 (Arrival after 20:00 by prior arrangement)
Check-out time: 10:00
Late check-out may incur additional charges.

Room Allocation

The Establishment reserves the right to allocate rooms.
Room changes may be made without prior notice.

Liability

ALL GUESTS ENTER THESE PREMISES AT THEIR OWN RISK.
ALL VEHICLES ARE PARKED AT OWN RISK.
The Establishment accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to any private/personal property belonging to the guest.
Guests will be held responsible for any unreasonable damage caused to the Establishment.

Conduct

Guests must behave in a respectful and considerate manner.
No loud music and smoking in designated areas only.
Guests are not allowed to remove towels, bedding, toiletries or any other items that belong to the Lodge.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 07:00 – 10:00 in the Boma or Lapa. Breakfast packs can be supplied by prior arrangement.

Security

Guests must report any lost or stolen items.
The Establishment reserves the right to inspect rooms.

Termination

The Establishment may terminate the booking without notice for non-compliance with terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with South African law.

Amendments

The Establishment reserves the right to amend these terms without notice.

By making a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to these terms.
