The restaurant and pub on the Orange River is just below the lodge. It is an eloquently designed open plan thatched roof area with African interior design and beautify crafted furniture. There is lounge as you enter where we will serve you drinks before dinner.
The open plan lounge-dining room is tastefully decorated in a contemporary farmhouse style with plush couches and creature comforts like Netflix, WiFi, books and magazines, board games, a self-help tea and coffee stations and a fireplace, which warms the open plan space. The 8-seater table in the dining room can be used for meals on colder days or for family get togethers.
A table will be reserved for you for your family or friends can serve yourself to a delicious buffet breakfast, with muesli, eggs, hash browns, tomato and bacon.
The kitchen is not for use by guests, but when on holiday, who wants to cook anyway! Our cook prepares sumptuous and hearty breakfasts and dinners on request (please book dinner before 13:00 each day). We also keep basic heat-and-eat meals for latecomers, which are available for a small fee. All meals for lodge and cottage guests are served on the stoep.
